THE PARIS NEWS, 18 Dec 1988: 'B. G. Bailey, 71, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died there Friday, 16 Dec 1988. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, 20 Dec, at the East Post Oak Church with the Rev. Mike Black officiating. Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home will make burial in East Post Oak Cemetery. Masonic graveside rites will be conducted. Mr. Bailey was born 20 May 1917, in Detroit, a son of Garvey and Eegie Tomlinson Bailey. He married Ellisteen (Kit) Beers in 1940. He had been a rancher in Siloam Springs. Surviving are his wife; one son, Gary Bailey of Siloam Springs; three daughters, Eloise Dixon of Denton, Diane Blackburn of Lubbock and Sonya Lawrence of Siloam Springs; 10 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, John and Herman Bailey of Paris; and a sister, Anna Ziegler of Arlington.'
