THE PARIS NEWS, Thu., Mar. 9, 1995, p.2A: "Carrie Bagley, 68, of Paris died Tuesday, March 7, 1995, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 10, at Meadowbrook Cemetery with Dr. Wilbur Simmons officiating. Gene Roden’s Sons, Directors of Funerals, has charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Bagley was born Dec. 24, 1926, in Detroit, a daughter of Tolbert A. and Lela Walker Nichols. She was retired as a nurse’s aide from McCuistion Regional Medical Center and was a member of Ramseur Baptist. Surviving are two sons, Sam A. Bagley Jr. of Milton, VT and Ronald Bagley of Gardiner, ME; her mother who lives in Paris; a brother, Robert Nichols Jr. of Blue Ridge; five sisters, Eula Mae Havens, Jo Alexander and Pat Corbin, all of Dallas, Lela Faye Woodard of Mesquite and Marie Leopolos of Seagoville; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; an uncle, Gene Walker of Blossom; an aunt, Lorraine Eaton of Paris; and several nieces and nephews."
