THE PARIS NEWS-Mar.28,1991: HUGO, Okla. - Hermon Markus Baggett, 75, of Hugo died Wednesday, March 27, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 29, at the first United Methodist Church in Hugo with the Rev.
Roger Wood and the Rev. Wayne Eustus officiating. Lampton-Mills and Coffey Funeral Home will make burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Mr.
Baggett was born April 7, 1915, in Detroit, Texas, a son of Joseph Lonzo and Macie Dotson Baggett. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hugo and Hugo Masonic Lodge No. 217. He moved to Hugo from Detroit 70 years ago. Surviving are his wife Erile (Bill) Baggett, whom he married on June 27, 1936; one son, Charles Baggett of Hugo; one daughter, Peggy Kaley of Hugo; one sister, Ruth Mashburn of Hugo; four grandchildren, Greg and Joel Baggett and Marc Kaley and Regina Pulliam, and three greatgrandchildren.
